If you read the Mueller report in-depth, the prevailing theory - and it's only a theory, because we don't know what's in people's heads - is that the Russian-backed social media campaigns were enough to influence voters in those states. Those states had documented higher target rates for the false ads and propaganda put together by the Russian team. They were served more content on Facebook. And, combined with efforts to disenfranchise black voters in places like Milwaukee and Detroit, may have been enough to swing an election.

That's really fucking important to know for 2020 so that similar attempts can be combatted before election day. No, it's not outright changing votes, but it sure as hell is influencing them. I saw members of my own family parroting info from Facebook that was demonstrably false.

As far as your contention that no one is talking about the various Democrats on this board, it's because we'd vote for any of them in a heartbeat. Even Biden will get substantial support. Why? Because he's not Trump and can bring some semblance of normalcy to our lives.

Win the damn election. Then we can worry about the details of how to move forward with healthcare and education and foreign policy.
