    Not sure if that is true.

    But a month ago, this came up. ... Kevin McCarthy was defending how much money his campaign, PAC and fundraising committees were spending at Trump properties, and he was saying how they are just like any other hotels, no different than if he spent at a Marriott.

    Of course, before Trump was elected, McCarthy had spent almost nothing at Trump hotels. Since late 2016, he's spent about a quarter of a million dollars at Trump properties.

    I'm OK with that, as long as it isn't my money. Anyone who does give that asswipe their money deserves to be treated that way, in my opinion. I hope they gorged themselves on $100 shrimp cocktails.
