McGovern was a war hero, flew a B-24 over Germany and received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Carter was a Naval Academy Graduate and was an officer in the submarine corps. The conservatives bashed John Glenn, not only a military hero but an astronaut.

Right wingers are just military pousers. Nixon served in the Navy, never saw combat. George HW Bush was a real war hero. His son was a drunken pussy who went dumped on his duties. Reagan was pouser, there's a man for whom Hollywood privilege saved his ass. Trump is a draft dodger and coward, more so than Clinton. Romney received more deferements than trump and his number was never called. McConnell was busted out of the service for a sodomy charge that was swept under the bathroom door. Ted Cruz never served, McCarthy never served. Is there a republican who did serve left, other than that one-eyed congressman from Texas?
