What Kentucky has done to their retirement system (and to the poor bastards who worked for the state for decades) should land some people in jail.

 

Thoughts and prayers for the Trumpist klan. They held a klan meeting in -- appropriately enough, Rupp Arena -- last night.
Looks like it might not be enough.
Of course, Kentucky has had a history of electing Democrats for governor one year and Republicans for president a year later. I'm not about to believe this means the Trumpists will lose an SEC state. But it is nice just once to see them lose on some level.

 

Boy was that a nice surprise. I am sorry for all the awful things I have said and thought of Kentucky.

 

Dems now have 23 governerships - most I can remember them having for a while.

 

Pretty good chance that both the house and senate in Virginia will be blue by the end of the night.

 

The outstanding counties went two-thirds R - not enough. Lead is sixK with scattered ballots and absentees left.

 

I believe it was the Rev. Ike who preached "the lack of money is the root of all evil. "

 

Pleasant surprise in Kentucky. Bevin ran all-in as Trump. Big turnout. Keep it up.

Still don’t think McConnell is in danger. But a boy can dream.

Everyone needs to ignore national polls. All that matters is battleground states. And they’re all tight.

 

I’ve seen enough mainline theologians say it is and read enough about it to agree.
