If the whistleblower's identity didn't matter, we'd know who it is by now. They'd want to sing it. Instead, it's been stage-managed by Schiff.

Now, I've said the Democrats have played this well, and they have. But, sooner or later, the Senate, at the very least, is going to want to know, it oughta be fun when we do.

 

The whistleblower's identity matters because Trump, or somebody working on his behalf, will kill him.

 

What facts of the case are changed based on the whistleblower's identity?

If the whistleblower is a rabid Democrats, does that mean Donald Trump wasn't trying to use $400 million in foreign aid as leverage to get Ukraine to go on Fox News and say, "We're investigating Democrats"?

Nevertheless: The smear campaign you and your fellow GOP'ers are attempting to employ in an effort to muddy the waters is a great example of why whistleblower laws exist in the first place.
