It's stuff like this that makes me think the "both sides are to blame" is a crock of an argument. Granted - none of us were around, but you would think people who identify as Republicans would have some grasp of history. Or maybe it's just a majority of the GOP is still fighting the Civil War. There really is no excuse in any event.

 

Lincoln was the best thing to ever happen to blacks in America; of course the racist remnant of his party can’t stand him.
