Trump dismisses House Intel's impeachment report as a 'joke'

 

I understand people wanting some polite discussion about impeachment, but I really don't understand Turley's argument. A) Does he expect an administration under fire to just take it and not respond and defend itself by rallying its base? B) It ultimately comes down to public support for the President and whether his party is willing to go down with him. C) Does the action or inaction in question really matter?
His argument indicates he hasn't really been following politics in the last 20 years. And if he really thought the framers would be cool with this President's actions, he's kidding himself.
