I've said for more than a year that debates in 2020 were on thin ice.
I think Trump wants to be on the stage. His handlers know not to let him go there.

First, I’m about as anti-gun as they come and in favor of stricter gun policies than most.

Second, those shooter drills are all about schools wanting to check off a liability box, not gun control. They do tornado drills, too. Tornadoes might hit one school a year. Maybe.

Third, they have a voice. It’s not on me to let
Them or not. What I control is whether or not I’m cowed by stage-managed kids dispensing moral advice or grave intonations like the Thunderdome. She wasn’t at the UN to talk about climate. She was there as a shaming mechanism.

For example...are liberals just going to stop traveling because climate? Anthony Bourdain, planet killer?

Please make up your mind. First you said the MSD kids were not crisis actors. But now you're claiming they're stage managed, so they can't speak. And you won't listen to those who speak for them since they're the same ol', same ol. Enugh of you and saying you're for change while not wanting those who can affect change speak unless they measure up to your impossible standards.

When some lowlifes started saying the Sandy Hook shooting was faked, just about every sane person at all points on the political spectrum were appropriately outraged.

For some reason, after the Parkland shooting conservatives seemed more ok with smearing the survivors and the victims' families.

Is that an example of the Overton Window?

And now recess. Does that mean more hearings over who gets to use the swingset first?

Trump appeared on Alex Jones’s show, has retweeted him and the GOP has done nothing about this. So this type of behavior suffers no consequences and feeds the crazies.

Although it's been said, many times, many ways, there's something about Trump that makes it impossible for the Republicans to say no to him.
