I often wonder what goes through Trump's mind when he sends these missives. If he thinks he's intimidating Pelosi, Schumer, ect., it's obvious they aren't. But keep telling the base he's pwning the libruls!

John McCain is lionized, but damn him for calling Chelsea Clinton the family dog.

Does Trump have some sort of explosive implant in Republicans like Samuel L. did in "Kingsman: The Secret Service"? Their slavish devotion to El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago,* despite mountains of evidence that proves he's a criminal, is kind of mind boggling. [IMG]

His internal numbers didn't look good if he stayed as a Democrat.

"His internal polling from earlier this month showed that 60 percent of likely Democratic primary voters wanted someone new to replace him, and that 71 percent would be less likely to support him if he voted against impeaching President Trump. "

So he runs to Trump, knowing what he is.

I've heard him described as an opportunist. Republicans already in the race for his seat have said they'll challenge him. He probably knew he was screwed and is trying to stay relevant.

Common decency would dictate sometimes you just don't go there.

So when do Trump, Giuliani, etc., start laying the muscle on these guys to quit the race and clear the decks for Van Drew?
