Oh God I was about to turn this off but I have to see that large gentleman who I assume speaks with a foghorn leghorn accent with what looks like a pocket square of fake cash in his jacket speak. I need to see where he goes with that.

Thanks, very much what I'm trying to convey. This is NOT the type of president we revered in grammar school in the late 60's and 70's.

 

Lyndon Johnson? Richard Nixon? Obviously far more accomplished and intelligent men than Trump, but they had their issues, standards-wise.

 

I live in Virginia, where 90 percent of the state's landmass is red but Richmond, NoVa, Charlottesville and the Tidewater cities are blue. That's why everyone in rural counties are pulling this second amendment sanctuary bullshit. And people in the rural parts of the state DESPISE Fairfax County/Arlington/Alexandria. They believe it should be a different state and that a few rich people from the suburbs are ruining their lives. It's breathtaking to live through.

It's as if we've only gone through this two and a half other times...

 

Are we going to hear from Alcee Hastings (D-Fla.) who today is setting a record that may never be touched by participating in his THIRD impeachment. He was in the House for the Clinton impeachment and before that, as a federal judge, he was impeached himself. He knows the issue inside out.

 

There's always a tweet. Or soundbite.

 

Instead of droning for hours on end, why can't someone in Congress simply use their time playing things like this?
