This is manifested most dangerously by modern Republicans expressing their preference for Russia over the US by aligning with the leader of their klan.

The nutty thing is that he’s portrayed both an Iranian and an Iraqi.

Hard to calculate who hates apple pie more than these days, the Dems or the elephants. I wish I were kidding.

The experts who know that part of the world are saying we likely did overstep. I'm relying their understanding of the geo-political dynamics over there.

She anchors on KTLA/5 news in L.A. It's an independent or a CW affiliate, I think.

The only time I watched that channel was for afternoon breaking news or fire coverage. They do that very well. Now, we're cutting cable/satellite and we don't have that channel with Hulu via Fire Stick. At least not yet. We haven't figured out how all of this stuff works.
Oops, I don't intend to post on this thread. I read, but don't post.

As I pointed out earlier, the Iran-Iraq war killed 500,000 soldiers. I don't think for a minute that this country has the stomach for that sort of war mentality, not without a Pearl Harbor/Twin Towers sort of event to galvanize the political will and anger to sustain it. We're very good at technological war, but small units who are willing to die doing so can do an incredible amount of damage very quickly to places like embassies and bases, as well as to soft targets like hospitals, airports and the like. Of course they don't have our military might and reach. That means that they use terror tactics to make their point when they make a return strike.
