I wonder if any of them immediately bought defense contractor stocks?

Or shorted oil futures. Would be a slam-dunk insider-trading case.

An underrated aspect of the action in Bagdhad is hearing the responses of the Dem contenders. It's one thing to be pushing your proposals and policy views - quite another when you are suddenly seen as responding to world events and voters get a taste of what to expect when you get a 3 am phone call. It's no longer about the candidate, but about the confidence people have in a candidate's ability to lead a nation in the midst of a crisis. Because at this point - you aren't just talking to voters, you're talking to the world. You have to a) show a command of the background of the situation b) not box yourself in to a position when new facts arrive and c) blend your policy views into traditional foreign policy norms.

I predicted, early on, that his buildings would be hit. Surprised that it hasn't happened.

Just take a step back think how crazy it is that he obviously told his son and likely told members of his club (which anyone can join for a check) that we were about to attack. Other than the sheer stupidity of it all, we have zero idea how compromised other members of the club are or who his kids are speaking with.

And there are times like this when you ask yourself why Tucker isn't like this all the time?
