Global money launderer doesn't even cover the fucking ghoul.

Everytime, Trump goes around the room during an event and says dumb ad-libbed things about the people sitting there he calls Wilbur Ross a "Wall Street legend," or "a genius investor" or something like that.

And people who don't follow finance have no clue what a joke he's considered. But they have created this narrative that the dishonest fuck is Paul Tudor Jones or Stanley Druckinmiller or even Warren Buffett.

The reality is that Ross is a grifter, just like Trump, just a less flamboyant one.

I just hit google to see if anyone has succinctly summed up what a cheat the guy has been, and I found this:

On top of it, aside from the grifting, he's not a genius investor. He knows how to grease people and get the government to give him shit -- he's basically been a professional welfare recipient at a high stakes level. And when that doesn't work, as a debt investor he has had some devastating losses, like his Greek debt debacle and his stake in the Bank of Cyprus, although it's a near certainty that he made that pay for itself as a place where he has laundered a lot of Russian Oligarch money.

To the extent he has had any succesful deals, though, they involved his fund taking stakes in things while he was buying off politicians to get the government to institute tarrifs or pass legigislation. Like when Bush instituted steel tariffs RIGHT after Ross's fund took LTV out of bankruptcy, sending steel prices through the roof. And even there, he supposedly didn't have much of his own money involved. His fund did a heads I win, tails I win deal, in which he had very little skin in the game (he has investors), but got a management fee that gave him a huge cut of the profits when they sold the company.

Oh, and he lies about his wealth like someone else we all know, and will also humiliate himself to convince people he's worth billions.
