Bill Clinton was anything but an establishment favorite. They wanted Mario Cuomo to run but he didn't. And at this very week in 1992, the Gennifer Flowers story was absolutely going to end Clinton's candidacy. Even more than in Hollywood, in politics nobody knows anything.

 

What she said was, "you're deplorable if you support Fatfuck."

Solution simple: Don't support Fatfuck.

The only people who would have gotten sand in their cracks about that were people who were already supporting Fatfuck.

Who fuckin' cares about hurting their feelings? At some point, you need to
make a point of it.

 

It's even worse than Starman says. The more fucked up Trump gets, the more they like it. The more evil he gets, the better. The more the United States abandons democracy, the better they like it. At this point, if Trump started WW3, the last words of the Trumpers before the missiles hit would be "Really owned those libs this time!"

 

They and Trump want to punish the rest of the country for not fulfilling their need to be seen as just as exceptional/as good as/better than people they think see them as inferior.

The thing about New Yorkers is that if you live there for a year and currently live there, you’re a New Yorker. It’s the most small D Democratic city in the world. If you’re from Peoria or Greenville or West Bumfuck Montana but have lived in the city for a year and still live there, you’re part of it. If your parents were from the Ozarks or Texas or LA or St Paul and you were born in Boston or Philly or Chicago, you’re not Considered a Bostonian or Asshole or Chicagoan

 

When Hillary made the deplorables remark, my first thought was "as long as the Russians don't hack the election and Comey doesn't release an ill-timed letter due to pressure from right-wing FBI agents, she'll win."
