Bernie will not tack to the center and he and the party will lose their asses in November as a result. Then the country gets four years of Trump unleased -- really unleashed. If your supporting evidence is Chris Matthews, whose references are older than I am (AND I'M GETTING FUCKING OLD), and James Carville, who's been trading off winning one election almost 30 years ago, it's time to go back to the drawing board.

 

You are right that there has only been one caucus, but this primary has been going on for a year. Fundraising, volunteer recruitment, staff recruitment, endorsements, polling in the first four states have been going on for months though - those are the foundations of campaigns.

 

Yes, and they've had results such as Booker and Harris dropping out. But these guys are supposed to be purely data based analysts and they are making assumptions about an electorate of tens of millions on very little data at all. Hasn't been a poll of Nevada or a reliable poll in South Carolina in months. It's not very rigorous. Silver is attending fucking rallies in New Hampshire today. What crunchable numbers does that provide him?

The only Twitter I see is on SJ, but Five Thirty Eight's (Silver's) model says that Sanders has a 44% chance of getting a majority of delegates before the convention. That doesn't look to me like the model is saying Sanders will definitely win and no one can stop him, just that it thinks he has a much better chance than anyone else in particular at the moment. Maybe Silver is more emphatic on Twitter, though.

 

R's in Alabama get their choice of Tubs with this BS, Sessions' spineless Trumpism, Bradley Byrne, who is even dumber than either and a bigger Trump-sucker, and Roy Moore.
