I do hope Liberty University students — the 15% of the total enrollment that actually attends classes on campus — revolt over their dear leader’s Trump-inspired refusal to follow standard procedures.

Or: "I'm the healthiest president ever. I'm tougher than coronavirus."

Here's what I find interesting. Last night, the news on this front was released via official letter from the official presidential physician. So far, no such document has made it into the public sphere re: test. Maybe it will. As we now know, these things change. But if there were such a letter attesting to Trump's taking the test, why not tweet it out as he's speaking in the Rose Garden for the sake of consistency?
I think most intelligent people know the answer to that question. He's either lying or inept. Or both.

If he has, in fact, taken the test, there are potentially perilous consequences. If he tests positive, that's obviously a source of instability in the government. If he tests negative, he may start beating his chest and making declarations such as those listed above. His klan will say, "See. This is all a libruhl hoax. It's not dangerous." And then we have more public health concerns. Only with this wretched human would such a thing be possible. The chances he'll issue a normal statement expressing relief and gratitude for the results but encouraging widespread caution, are nil.

 

I find it incredible that the UFC is, last I heard, going to go ahead with fights tonight — with apparent encouragement from Trump. Blood, spit, possible urine all in the ring/octagon while they fight.

These people obviously have been hit in the head too many times.

 

If there's a group of people who cannot complain if they get the virus, it's anybody in this klan. The issue, I suppose, isn't proximity to the barbarians in the cage for those in the first few rows; it's being in a mass gathering in the first place when everybody else has deemed such things to be public health hazards.

The rest of Lynchburg is NOT happy about this. Most people not affiliated with LU can't stand the school to begin with. This isn't helping.
