The Secret Service is not used to having to force their principal not to impulsively act like an idiot.

Grab him and move/cover for him in an emergency? Sure. Do the country's business at a country club dining table and invite guests to take selfies with the Football? I'm sure that there was no existing protocol for that, because they never dreamed that the President would be a moron.

It's well known that the President is followed around at nearly all times by "the football." In particular, I remember reading a story (maybe a Reilly column) about how on the golf course, the football guy was on a nearby cart. However, I could imagine that the identity of the officer carrying it might be bad to reveal because it could potentially make him a target for foreign folks who might want to know about that protocol and its contents (if such a thing wasn't already fairly well known). If anything, I'm guessing the person most harmed is that guy himself. My guess is he will not be carrying that briefcase again.

This is not the same as a selfie on social media, of course, but the man who carried the football for JFK is in the famous picture of LBJ getting sworn in on Air Force One.

Might be a d_b with the wrestling thread, although I doubt it.

I haven't read that this happened.

Now comes word that DOJ says Flynn is susceptible to blackmail from the Russians.
And what say Congressional Republicans, who represent the only true American patriots in the country? Nothing. The notice came from an Obama appointee, so it doesn't matter to them.
Remember, America: If there's a terrorist attack in the coming weeks or months, it'll be the fault of those libruhl judges, one of whom was a GWB appointee.

    A wild thought just now:

Trump's administration will handle the 2020 census. Can't wait for the hot takes after Wyoming is awarded 99 electoral votes.

In public - "Well, I'm not going to play the liberal media's games and comment on everything that happens during this administration."

In private - "He's as bad as we suspected. But at least I won office."

The 2017 Member-Guest at Mar-a-Lago is gonna be a doozy. Definitely the must-see sports event of 2017. Which member will invite minus-18 handicapper Kim Jong-Un as his partner?
