He's really scared, which is good for the rest of us. I wonder if some of the public health people told Pence they'd quit Trump didn't start saying more normal things.

 

Yawn. I think 12,000 is a good spot to jump back in.

 

It's like he's realized his downplaying everything hasn't worked so now he's going to amp up the fear...which will allow him to declare "Marshall" Law, suspend the elections, rape the economy (even more)....

Trump just said that "the stock market will take care of itself. Once we get this virus under control, things will quickly get back to normal."

 

“not my responsibility” and “governors, get it yourself” should be game, set and match against Trump. Fucking piece of dog shit can suck that dog’s ass.

 

If you can't see voting for either guy over President Trump at this point, you are truly among the lost. Any doubt should have been gone a long time ago, but now we have his disastrous handling of Corona Virus 19. The United States far behind where it should be in response to a global pandemic largely due to his incompetence. Nothing is more important than how a president handles a national or global disaster. That is the most important job. He has failed in this disaster as a leader. He has made horrible decisions. He has misled the public. He has refused to take responsibility for past actions and current actions that could help address the situation. It wasn't just a slow start. He bungled it from the beginning, once again putting his own interests ahead of the good of the citizens of this country, but he is still screwing up. He is screwing up the little things, like bringing up all those businessmen who didn't need to be there at his press conference Friday and shaking their hands. He is screwing up the big things, like trying to put the acquisition of ventilators on the states when he is the one who can amp up production at the federal level. That one was today.

The bottom line is many more Americans are going to die from this pandemic due to his selfishness and his incompetence. That should be enough.

(To be clear, this isn't an attack on you. I just find his failure on this to be even more disturbing than everything else that led up to it.)
