    Bingo.

    Nobody wants their business closed. But this notion that it's a "people versus profits" thing defies how people actually behave.

    If you are running a department store, you aren't staying closed because you are a great humanitarian who cares more about people's health than your business. You are staying closed because if you open and one employee gets sick (which is LIKELY right now), you are going to have to shut back down, deep clean the place and stay closed anyhow, because you aren't going to be able to staff if you try to reopen again. Customers aren't going to a department store as long as new cases are still accelerating.

    Donald Trump can't control that.
