Once they pass this bill, Senate to recess until like mid-April. House in recess now. No matter what the national emergency, the strongest bipartisan impulse of our representatives is to shut down and get out of town as often as possible.

There strongest impulse was to jump on the "crisis" talk to expand their authority and power and leave a mountain of debt behind while all the pigs line up at the trough to benefit.

At the Federal level we were already close to $5 trillion a year being spent by DC politicians. That didn't do anything to prevent the "crisis." It has the opposite effect. We are overly indebted and our resources are allocated in ways we are all paying for.

They don't even tax us enough to cover all of their trillions of dollars of spending every year now, and they don't actually produce anything. So they are picking winners to inefficiently allocate 1 of every 3 dollars in our economy to, and they leave us with a mountain of debt, while they play Santa Claus to buy the influence (at all of our expense) that keeps them in power.

Their impulse , as you put it? It was to find a way to spend another $2+ trillion this year, lickity split before the window of opportunity closed. That is now going to be the new baseline, because once they raise that spending bar, they ain't rolling it back -- without us defaulting on our debt, at least. It's the age old, politician power grab. Shout "emergency," and you don't get the resistance you normally do, and you use it as an opportunity to expand your power and lay even more cost on the country for the corrupt game.

I've wondered which way Fox would go with anti-Trump ads.
Are they more interested in making him look good or revenue?
The only way his cult is going to see it is if you run the information on Fox.
It does no good to run ads like that on stations they don't watch in the first place.

There needs to be a website that lists the names and ages, maybe the address or home towns, of people who die. People need to see what this is doing. Kind of like the roll call for 9/11
