Trump was never going to win Washington, he lost the West Coast by more than five million votes last time and this time will be far worse. Now he needs to get mad at the governors of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin and Minnesota, swing states like Michigan, the citizens of which he already told to drop dead.

A blanket f-you to the entire Big Ten would do the trick, except for Indiana.

As others have already said, the appeal to Trumpist states ought to be pretty simple: Stay inside and out of public view until told to come out of your caves. If you don't listen to elites and elect instead to listen to your Trumpist governors, you may not get SEC football this year. For many of them, that's all they've got. The bottom of this is rather bleak.
