President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

This really is a fascinating case study in waiting. The Trumpist pseudo church in Arkansas has been linked to 37 cases of the libruhl hoax flu bug.
Today or yesterday, a Trumpist preacher in Tampa was threatened with arrest or actually arrested for defying the order about crowd size.
Funny how we've got a civil war between Trumpist principles: the supremacy of one particular flavor of religion vs. States Rights. The 10th amendment gives the states control over health, safety and morals, and that's being invoked here.

As I think I understand it, the Trumpists are going to lose because most precedent says the state is only improper here if it treats religion differently than other elements of society. If, in other words, churches were closed for crowd-control reasons but SEC football could continue with 100,000 drunken, screaming Trumpists of another stripe, the pseudo Christians would have a case.

Or if Trumpists states -- as you know they'd love to do -- were to try to close mosques and synagogues but keep pseudo Christian churches such as the tent-recitalist huckster in Louisiana open.

There have to be limits, right? If a Trumpist pseudo Christian church, following the precepts of the Gospel According to Hannity, were to conduct a service of human sacrifice and execute a bunch of worthless elderly people who were only takers and not contributing to God's Capitalist Empire, the state would have to stop that, right?
OK.. Most states?

Are these Trump daily briefings going to become more and more like talk shows where he gives the update at the top, they bring in the experts for the stats and science and Trump brings in a special guest to lick his balls for the final 10 minutes.

FWIW, Hannity has been firmly on the "Stay inside, you morons!" and "We're all in this together" side of this thing. He even had Andrew Cuomo on his radio show last week for the better part of an hour.
He's based in New York, so it's probably hard for him to put blinders on regarding the situation there.
