Trump is to meet with the CEOs of the seven largest oil and gas companies on Friday. Look for them to get the first slice of bailout money. Should be a real winner politically. Oil companies always popular.

 

Yeah, Mulvaney. Hang him high.

 

The funny thing is - the biggest crisis facing America and the world pre-Covid was Trump himself.

 

Remember when in the 2010 midterms the Democratic Party got crushed because the recovery was too slow?

Obama should have said "I prevented eight Great Depressions. So I would consider that a success."

 

Right, that's exactly my point. And the President will claim all credit for that "rise" in employment, and his bootlickers will eat it up. No matter how bad it gets before this is over, when it ends, there will be an "improvement" from the worst of it and he will take credit for it all.

 

But what does A-Rod think?

 

I told family about it on 12/24, had just seen it on twitter a couple days before. Wish I could find the tweet, I assume I retweeted it. It was a news service that posted the original.

 

Yep. I think every single act of corruption by him will be "the one". Finally this time they will see him for what he is. Then this comes along and I think SURELY this will be their moment, this will wake them up. I think my only hope left is a hot mic of him insulting his followers. When it hits their ego, maybe.

 

I am already thinking about where I want to be when it comes back in the fall. (I have a couple of options)
