Look never, NEVER, in my prior 57 years did I ever hear, let alone have anyone in government contemplate, that we "sacrifice" anyone, have them DIE because we didn't have the $$ for a solution. The USA is better than that. I don't want a Republican, a Democrat, a Libertarian, a Green Party member, any US citizen to be sacrificed so we could have some more social freedom. That's what the GOP wanted.

Absolutely agree. We're going to need to throw one helluva infrastructure party once Covid calms down a little. A lot of people will need work. I *hope* that a lot of infrastructure decisions will be made with an eye to solar power, cutting back on emissions, all sorts of new energy tech being put in place instead of the same old corporate hogs at the trough. I hope the young people take to the streets and demand it.

    Trump has his 40%.

Let me remind everyone that the biggest presidential landslides in American history were 60-40 elections, the largest being LBJ's 61-39 which actually wasn't the biggest electoral rout.

He called him an "off-brand butt plug." That's gotta hurt. I think "top-of-the-line butt plug" would have been a bit more appropriate.
