Who wants to bet these groupings of midatlantic and west coast states continue as a grouping after this is over to form a “shadow government” to take care of things a corrupt federal government won’t.

 

These associations are interesting.
Maryland, DC, Virginia and Delaware should form their own deal next. Although Maryland's governor is a nominal Republican, he's no Trumpist. This could work.

Then what does North Carolina do? The governor is a Democrat, but both houses of the legislature are pure Trumpist. They could be on an island.

South Carolina, Georgia and Florida won't be doing this sort of thing because such action would imply that the issue is serious, and they know their boy in the White House would take it as an affront to his brilliant leadership.
