Data so far does not bear this out. Deaths from unattributed causes (officially, likely it's the virus) are way, way up in the most affected cities and states. Domestic violence (leading cause of homicide), way up as well. Flu deaths unchanged. Now this could change as lockdown continues, but it hasn't so far.
