Guess we might find out a bit more about Mitch if he goes along with this. I'm sure he would've been fine and dandy if, say, Obama tried this to appoint Merrick Garland.

How anyone can listed to Trump and think everything is OK is just beyond me.

This is rich from a guy who leaves positions vacant for years on end with acting whatevers and now wants to cry about people not getting confirmed during a global crises

 

He doesn't care if you die, doesn't care if I die. Doesn't care if any of his kids except maybe Ivanka dies. He's a monster. His supporters like monsters.

 

It does seem pretty clear that the GOP back office has been working to craft a narrative/find other scapegoats to blame/ disract people from Trump's ignorance/incompetence to hold on to their base judging by the protests, FOX news talking points and other things we're hearing from the Trumpmerica.

No longer trying to spin that Trump is handling this thing beautfully is the major clue.

 

He's wanting to slam in a bunch of recess appointment interims while Congress is out. That would get him bodies till election day, no matter how venal or unqualified.

Hoping to see a Biden-Warren ticket. I’m told, though, that it’s unlikely. We’ll see.
