Here's why the Trumpist klan held its physically dangerous rally in Lansing today:
    * Wayne County (Detroit) is home to 45% of the state's cases, 46% of its deaths and 18% of its population. It is 39% black.
    * There are 60 counties in the state in which whites make up ≥ 90% of the population. They account for 30% of the state population but only 6.4% of the COVD cases and 5.6% of the deaths.
    * All 60 of those counties voted for Trump, who received 61.2% of the vote to Clinton's 33.7%

As long as the virus is relatively confined to black areas, Trump and his klan are giddy.

Control of the Senate is (almost) as important as getting rid of Fatfuck. Taking Warren out of the Senate, for any period of time, endangers that.

Warren can be plenty influential in the Senate. She should stay there.

And the VP choice, whoever it is, should be under 60 years old.

Cons on Warren: Age (because of Biden) and her role in the Senate, as mentioned. Need VP to be someone younger who can run and win in four years.

Pros: Help with progressive wing. And, after this economic meltdown, lower and middle class people are going to need help, real help, on the financial front. Not richy rich republican help. Warren would be VP with chops who could be assigned that task and be very good at it.

For whatever it's worth, she said tonight on Maddow she'd take the job.

I kind of doubt it's going to be her, personally.

This November, America will have to open one of two doors. Behind one door are lies, incompetence and blame-shifting. Behind the other is a chance at a better future. Remember, you're going through one of those doors whether you choose to open it or not.
