    Ideally, yeah. Thing is, Democrats chose Biden because of the belief that he was the most electable — the one who had the best shot to beat Trump. Right? So, I don’t see why that criteria should change with the VP selection.

    It makes sense to go with the VP who will expand his coalition over someone who may be younger and doesn’t dramatically increase his chances of a November victory. If there’s an argument for a younger VP who can bring in additional support, then OK.

    Like most world leaders who aren't concerned about their teevee ratings, Putin has been working from home and videoconferencing (his most recent was Monday). Nothing is done in public because the public is on month-long holiday and told to Stay. The. Fuck. Home. (sound familiar?)
