    Dumb bunny Palin cost McCain a significant amount of votes, by demonstrating he would recklessly appoint an incompetent unqualified idiot to the ticket, and also as a result of women angered he would appoint an idiot utterly opposed to virtually all "women's issues" in a pathetic attempt to pander.

    Obama was probably gonna win anyway, but Palin did move the needle-- in the wrong direction.

    At that time, McCain was considered "old" for a nominee, so his VP choice carried that weight. Of course in 2008 he was younger than both Trump and Biden.
