Is it even mathematically possible for Sanders to catch him?.

    I heard no such talk.

It's pretty straightforward. How can someone who received fewer votes be a better candidate?

    It makes no sense.

He didn’t deserve re-election several months ago.

What he deserves now is trial and conviction in The Hague.

"Doing something" at this point means completely turning over the table and somehow selecting a candidate that nobody wanted before. Why not have the DNC Chair commit seppuku as well?

Fuck the Bernie Bros. Who are they going to turn to? They and their hero are one of the reasons Hillary lost in 2016. Do they want to hand to Trump again?

So you’re saying Biden is guilty?

I'm not talking about Sanders. I'm saying that if nobody has enough delegates, it becomes a lot easier for someone else to be the nominee.

Do you really think that would stop them from sitting this thing out?

Every candidate who has ever held elected office is "flawed." In the 2020 United States Presidential Election, it is up to the American electorate to decide which candidate is more "deeply flawed" and, hopefully, vote for the other guy. The candidates' records as elected representatives of citizens of the United States stands for themselves.

If we're keeping score by sexual misconduct claims, the President remains far and away the more "deeply flawed" candidate. If we're keeping score by just about any measure outside of "appeals to racists," the President remains the more deeply-flawed candidate. In short, calling Biden "deeply flawed" in a binary race against the incumbent is like calling Charles Barkley deeply flawed in a race against Charles Manson.

If they can’t have their guy, they’d rather see the entire world burn. That’s how they did it 4 years ago.
