President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Since 9/11, it seems like everything is all about the troops. The GOP especially has been full throated with its patriotism and love for the troops. This is the intersection. They have given their souls to Trump, but now report after report is telling us that Russia, our known adversary since the end of WWII, offered money for the death of our troops while Trump didn't just look away.. he continued courting Putin. This one has to touch some of those people.

 

So, in Trumpworld:

Kneeling during anthem = disrespect to the troops.

Ignoring Russia payoffs to kill our soldiers = Respecting the troops.

Sure.

 

If you’ve seen this country since the 60’s you’d see how much BS the GOP has been spouting about the “troops”. What about their pay? Their VA benefits? Their transition home? Now this bounty stuff without hitting back at Russia? Moscow Mitch and Fatf*ck have got to go.
