That could be the biggest reason he'll get his ass kicked in November.

    The AP has reported:

"Top officials in the White House were aware in early 2019 of classified intelligence indicating Russia was secretly offering bounties to the Taliban for the deaths of Americans, a full year earlier than has been previously reported, according to U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the intelligence. The assessment was included in at least one of President Donald Trump’s written daily intelligence briefings at the time, according to the officials. Then-national security adviser John Bolton also told colleagues he briefed Trump on the intelligence assessment in March 2019."

McGrath beats out Booker and will face McConnell. Good. I was afraid that Booker would win and Kentucky white people would refuse to vote for him. Booker is the more progressive candidate, but this is the best chance to get McConnell out. I think Black voters will vote against him still. That boil needs to be lanced.

Biden gave a good speech and is taking question now. He’s fine.

Say there’s a bunch of voters on the fence and they see a Trump ad saying Biden has dementia or is fading. And they go actually listen to him.

That strategy could backfire in a big way. Outside of the cult, Biden is genuinely likable.

Planned Parenthood can say they are in the education business of teaching about reproductive health.

That’s why I thought it was a big mistake for him to do all those rallies for the first three years. They stop being special and just turn into a bunch of noise.

Rand Paul continues to prove the worst thing you can do to a libertarian is vote for them. As soon as they're in office, the jig is up, the con is over. They can't sit on the sidelines anymore and shout at anyone in earshot how smart they are and how dumb everyone else is. You have to have more substance than 'Personal Freedom!" and 'Just asking questions.!'

It also signaled to friend and foe alike that he was a deeply unserious person completely uninterested in the actual job of POTUS with a preference for passive punditry.

Kind of a no-win situation IMO because McConnell is going to kick her ass and the Democrats will have learned once again that putting up a milquetoast candidate that will spend the next 16 weeks trying to out-Republican the real thing isn't going to work. McGrath will lose more votes than she'll win down the stretch because she's going to try to appeal to voters that don't have any interest in voting for her.
