God damn he’s fucking stupid. This is such a stupid argument it’s embarrassing he’s American, let alone the president.

If we only track deaths, the numbers become really small.

The bottom line is the number of lives that are either ended or permanently harmed by something that could have been mitigated months ago.
When I see Trumpists trumpeting the (temporarily) declining death count and proclaiming victory, I get hacked off.

 

If between 2009 and 2017, tax return checks gave 130,000 Americans paper cuts, right-wingers would be like "Obama's got blood on his hands!!!!!"

But with Trump and Covid, they're like "Only 130,000 deaths out of 250 million, stop fearmongering libs!"

 

I’m really missing his Rockin’ July 4th party like he threw last year. It was some of the finest accidental comedy I’ve ever seen.
