McConnell Expects New Virus Relief Bill by End of Month

Looks like Senate Majority Leader McConnell is doing his part in President Trump's re-election campaign as well as other races involving Republicans this fall. After resisting attempts by Democrats to pass another stimulus package, he is now predicting one more will pass this year. Now he will try to make sure Republicans get credit to help in November. Nothing changed since he questioned the need for another deal except we got closer to the election.

On the plus side, support for re-opening schools seems to be on the agenda. Sure, it's all about the politics. The timing is proof of that, but it is worth it to get funding needed to help schools re-open safely. I just wonder how much of it Betsy DeVos will manage to steal for private schools.
