    I just shook my head. You're a goddamn football coach. Why the hell do you need an armed-guard to get you off the field? All because some nimrod grabbed Bear Bryant's hat. Now, everybody has one, and some of the basketball coaches, too. Jim Harrick, I used laugh at him. C'mon, Jim, why do you need a cop to help you walk 20 yards from the bench to the locker room?

    Except Clinton was an incumbent, which is a built-in advantage. Trump should have that built-in advantage. Usually an incumbent who is losing, is at least reasonably close at this point in the cycle. Take Jimmy Carter, for example, who was keeping it reasonably close in the polls until the last 6 weeks or so.

    That 52-37 is stunning. It's not as if anyone is all that excited about Joe Biden, or that he is doing anything particularly special to take down an incumbent president. It's Biden staying quiet and letting Trump be Trump.
