I figured it was probably Ike, then maybe Coolidge. I didn't think golf had really become all that much of a recreational pursuit until after WWI. And yeah, considering Wilson was pretty much bedridden his final year in office, 1200 rounds in 2500 days is a hell of a lot of golf. Especially considering there was no AF1 in those days and DC is snowbound and ungolfable at least a couple months of the year.

But of course Wilson playing a lot of golf didn't play into the "lazy n***er" narrative, or the outrage that a black guy is on the golf course for any other reason than mowing the lawn.

Wilson was a racist and fascist, so he probably fit in well on the golf course.

Is Milo Yiannopoulos the Lena Dunham of the right?

All I can think of now is a Conan "What if they mated" meme.

Only Dick can answer that. Speaking of which, when's he off timeout?

Recently students at Berkeley, as students elsewhere before them, threw a fit and prevented Milo Yiannopoulos from giving a paid lecture on campus. There was snide bemusement from the Right about how deftly this provocateur had gotten into the minds and under the skin of the liberals, to the accompaniment of much handwringing about political correctness and Freedom of Speech because of the overreaction that resulted.

Now the tape of Milo advocating for how harmless sex between thirteen year old boys and older men is has surfaced, and suddenly he is no longer welcome to be the Keynote Speaker at CPAC. He's gone a bridge too far, tripped the right's political correctness threshold, and demonstrated their hypocrisy very succinctly.

At least Milo's professional troll act has slipped up, and his own words have taken him down a peg. Now he's too incorrect even for the conservatives who only days ago professed so much admiration. I hope his "career" goes in the shitter. He's accumulated a lot of bad karma.

Even if you don't have to read the whole thing you should. Great article--even my friends who thought the title was boring agree.

So CPAC's saying, nah, we ain't countenancing child molestation, illustrates the hypocrisy of the right. Huh, don't that beat all?

For that matter, just take a look at the charts, if nothing else.

Well, they voted for a man who owned a pageant solely for the purpose of walking in on underage girls changing.
