I really hope Harrison beats Graham. How amazing would it be to see a state have two black Senators? It's never happened before.

"hypocritical wheel-screeching 180" ... lol Whitehouse always brings some good vocabulary and vernacular.

He doesn’t need seasoning. He needs to prove he can win an election outside of a college town. He also needs to prove he can win an election as an openly gay man. He’s brilliant. I hope he somehow achieves it. But it is important that he didn’t come out until after he had won his second term as mayor.
I wish he didn’t live in Indiana. South Bend’s House district was once represented by Mike Pence. The GOP has held it for 19 of the past 25 years.

Yeah, he should have stuck around in the race. He had the financial support to do so.[/QUOTE]

He had zero chance to win before South Carolina and even less than that after. The rational move was to use his political capital during the very limited window before Super Tuesday to support the viable candidate aligned with him policy-wise. Now he’s seen as an effective surrogate with a national political future, rather than someone who siphoned votes away from Uncle Joe to help Bernie and then Trump win.

Buttigieg and Klobuchar did what Kasic, Cruz, Rubio and everyone else in the GOP save Jeb should’ve done in 2016. Buttigieg/Klobuchar put country in front of personal gain.

National political future? In what? A series of unelected government jobs and occasional book deals that await him? A spot on a CNN panel?

He should stayed in, waited until the race winnowed down to just he, Biden and Sanders, and taken a crack at it. If he wanted to be president.

He was not finishing above 4th in any state on Super Tuesday with Warren, Bernie and Biden still in it. The ship had sailed at that point in terms of delegates awarded and delegates left. All he could do is take delegates away from Biden.
