    It happened where I grew up probably 25 years ago. A boy's family sued to get him on the team. (It's a litigious state with very broad rights under the state constitution.) He had to wear the same uniform and he dominated.

    Kent Babb writes some good stories.

    I don't know how this issue is going to be solved. As one coach is quoted near the end of the piece, Mack would "get killed" against men. If she gets hurt, that's going to cause another wild controversy. Not an easy problem to fix.

    You mean it would have been a problem if he wrestled with the guys and got hurt? I don't see why. There have been plenty of instances of girls wrestling against the boys. They take their chances just like any athlete.

    I think I get your point, but if he is going to identify as a male and the rules allow him to wrestle against males, that is where he belongs.
