    I truly don't know what's true about this story and what's not true. Have other media outlets independently confirmed it? (Besides FOX, which has had fellow NY Post reporters as guests to TALK about it.)
    If it all proves to be a big fat lie orchestrated by Rudy G, does it forever ruin the journalism careers of the journalists who fell for it?
    Asking for a friend, literally.

    If at this point, a scheming Rudy Giuliani offered someone a story on a platter that is intended to damage Donald Trump's opponent -- but doesn't want his fingerprints on it -- you can't say anyone "fell for it."

    Complicit would be the better choice of word. Will it end careers? It won't get them hired at the Washington Post. It may boost their cred at certain other places, though.

    My two thoughts are — 1) the whole backstory sounds so convoluted that it either is true or took about a minute to put together. If Hunter Biden was actually living in California at the time then it was the gang who couldn’t shoot straight. 2) you would think that the first email would be worse for Biden. If you are going to make shit up, then wouldn’t you do something more damaging?

    Here’s the timeline:

    - 2014: Hunter sends this smoking gun email
    - April 2019: Hunter gives his laptop to blind dude
    - October 2019: Someone creates the PDF of said email
    - December 2019: The FBI took the computer
    - Sometime after: Blind dude gives a copy of the hard drive to Rudy.


    So who - in October, 2019, was on Hunter’s computer making PDFs of emails?
