    About 4%, way more right-leaning than left-leaning.

And this weekend's campaign events are conveniently close to Trump properties. Another trip to the public trough!

Got to wait until the 2016 comparison is post-Comey letter, which I think is roughly five days from now, to be valid. Clinton polls everywhere went south after that.

If false, Hunter ought to sue Johnson for slander.

That's the point. There's still time for something to happen to move the polls.

Although it helps that there's way fewer undecideds this time. A 51-46 polling lead is a lot different from 46-41, even though they are both +5.

The piece? Not much. The number of newly registered voters in Texas, though, that could be very significant. I doubt that the majority of those are rushing to the polls to rescue Trump. Anglos are on pace to drop below a racial majority in the state in a couple of years, and Trump started bashing Latinx people on the day he announced his campaign and never stopped.

The numbers say that Texas is going to reach a tipping point sooner or later, and getting Trump out of office is powerful motivation to go out and vote. We'll see.
