It will be nice not to see the angry scowling face every morning, eh? Very nice!!! Many people will be talking!

 

Clearly didn’t get the memo that the GOP thinks $1.8 trillion is too much COVID-19 relief.

 

The ongoing saga of Trump skipping out on his legal bills has yet another chapter.

 

The red hats make it easy taxonomically to identify the dumb. I think we ought to keep them around. The hats, anyway.

 

It takes absolutely zero effort to wear a mask. It takes zero+very little to stand 6 feet away from another person. You also have the option of just staying away from people altogether in many cases, and certainly can limit the amount of time you are around people.

It takes tremendous effort to fight obesity. As one who fights it around the clock, day after day (and does very well in that fight), it is excruciating. I only have to wear a mask a few minutes a day. Some days not at all. I have to fight the temptation that comes with food, and the tendency to eat too much every waking minute. Because -- wait for it -- WE HAVE TO EAT. EVERY. DAY. FOR. EVER.

If we all wore masks, all of us, and stayed away from people, for about THREE OR FOUR GODDAMMOTHERFUCKING WEEKS, this virus would be gone. If you could tell me all I had to do was wear a mask and stay away from people for a month and I would be fit and healthy for the rest of my life, I think I -- and everyone -- could do it without breaking a sweat. Yet here we are, with thousands of new cases a day because our nation of right-leaning dumbfucks who can't believe the simplest of scientific concepts, refuse to cooperated. Because they don't want to. No other reasons. We could have had this taken care of by May. And here the fuck we still are, dropping dead 1,000 a day.

Is it exhausting being an asshole around the clock? I'm curious.

 

I read something last week that they dropped Keep America Great after the onset of COVID. I’ll give them at least a shred of credit for being self aware on that one. (And self aware on literally nothing else.)

 

In improv, there is the standby that your default mode should be "yes and." Reading posts on here, some people are stuck on "no but" by default.

 

What's the point of the last line here? Make the better argument, stand on it, and win the argument. This line indicates you're not sure you're right, and need to paint someone as an asshole to make sure you're winning.
