    It is beyond me is how anyone decent can vote today for an incumbent president who yesterday essentially said that if he doesn't get his way, there is going to be violence.

    Or paid off a porn star...
    Or committed tax fraud multiple times...
    Or tried to stop the election...
    Or tear gassed his own people...

    A lot of people will look the other way to keep things white.

    Except the part about someone "declaring victory" if he's ahead (or able to spin being behind into being ahead).

    Better not show it to the wife. Facebook survey already declared Vermont is the perfect state for her, and the only thing she likes more than mountains and snow . . . are more mountains and snow.

    The CBS Morning Show had a long segment telling people why it was going to take a long count this year and I assume the other morning shows did likewise. Obviously it was a way less polarized time, but I remember the day after Election Day in 2000 the prevailing mood was more puzzlement than anything else.

    And holy shit I never realized how gay the lyrics really are. I always thought the song was only about staying at the y. The lyric right after that was “if your short on some dough”
    “And I’m sure you’ll find a way to have a good time” not that there’s anything wrong with that
