Time to move US elections into the 21st Century. No excuse not to have nationwide early vote counting. Even fucking Florida figured that out.

 

I really don't want to hear about these 270-268 scenarios - there would be at least 2 Republican faithless electors to steal the election if it's that close.

Yeah, the AP call is probably fine. Biden's up 9 points with about 2/3 of the statewide count in and nothing from St. Paul. Tina Smith is up 7 on Jason Lewis. I'm a little more dubious on that one but would be a pretty big swerve, and again, St. Paul probably provides enough of a bump to finish that off.

Checking on a Congressional race in California: D Phil Arballo with a 1,809 vote lead (50.5% to 49.5%) lead over R Devin Nunes with 85% of vote in.

 

John King just went through that. There’s a ton still to count and Biden is outpacing Clinton by good margins.
