I think the motherfucker just might pull this shit off. I'm getting less optimistic every day, because every day he and his warlords chip away at the legitimacy of the election. It's amorphous-like guerilla warfare, not unlike how we got beat in Vietnam, fighting a hit-and-run war on five fronts (Pa, Mich., Wis, Nev., Ariz) and sowing seeds of doubt and buying one more day, day after day.
It's like Mao Tse-Tung wrote: "the guerilla army wins if it does not lose. The conventional army loses if it does not win."

They didn't drop the challenge because they think they're going to lose. They think the two GOP canvassers in Wayne County will do the work for them by rescinding their votes and opening the door for other court challenges. This is not a loss for Trump.

That doesn't seem like it's going to work, because that's why Trump invited those GOP legislative leaders in Michigan to the White House. The legal effort is going nowhere. No it's time to straight up seize power by having GOP legislatures name Trump electors and count on the new Congress to seat them.

They're not chipping away at anything. They are getting their asses handed to them in court over and over. There is no place with any legal standing where they are making any progress at all. Arizona? They were trying to appeal based on flaky questions about 180 votes in a state where he lost by 10,000.

Trump's team is getting its ass kicked. If you guys get off on doing the "Oh, democracy is over, Trump is warlord for life and there's nothing we can do" stuff, have at it. There is no basis for any of it.

The House will never certify an election for Trump. You have enough GOP Senators who recognize Biden as POTSU-elect, so they wouldn't certify. It would go to the House where I'm sure 26 states would vote for Trump, but then the country fractures because your biggest and richest states would no longer recognize federal authority.
As I've said before, even the sycophants won't go down that road because it's hard to hold an elected office in a country that doesn't exist.

Michigan has already said there is no mechanism to change your mind. It’s been certified. Now it goes for state certification. They can sue and say the vote was under duress but there’s no legal basis to reject the certification. The trumps said that the courts determine the winner of the election. Which is contrary to conservatism but not Christian fundamentalism, which is the core of the Republican Party. It seems the real courts haven’t gone his way.
And Rudy said yesterday it doesn’t matter what happens in trial courts, because they will appeal. The goal is to get to the Supreme Court

    Love this editorial.

"Now that Hawley is being questioned about his lack of a real Missouri address, naturally, this whole line of questioning is suddenly outrageous and out of line.

And what’s a lot more telling than where Hawley lays his head versus where he’s registered is how he and his office responded to questions from The Star.

In a statement, Hawley spokeswoman Kelli Ford said, “Josh and Erin sold their home in Springfield earlier this year to build a new one in Ozark, Missouri, and are staying down the street with family in Ozark while it’s finished. We realize Ozark may not be ritzy, but it suits Josh and Erin just fine. With ridiculous stories like this one, it’s no surprise the KC Star is losing money and had to move its printing operations out of state.”

“Enjoy Iowa!” tweeted Hawley, because production jobs are moving to Des Moines.

He and his spokeswoman actually seem to be relishing the impending loss of 68 full-time and 56 part-time Missouri jobs. But the men and women who run the presses at The Star have worked hard and well for a long time, and however affronted the senator is by being asked about his voter registration, their displacement is not a joke."
