President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Shocking. Shocking, I tell ya. I actually came across this on Wednesday because my students have to take and pass the test as a graduation requirement. Fortunately, it's my class and my rules, so I chose what questions are on the test. If it's bullshit, I don't use it.

I will say that the story is correct. The new question set is certainly right leaning.

I knew Vicki was married the guy who wrote it. First husband, not Big Al, the second.

So I decide to Google the first husband and he wrote a few hits, including one made famous by a guy who seemed to be the co-host every other fucking week on the Mike Douglas show.

Guy could make a cricket noise. I liked the Mike Douglas show, but the cricket thing made me want to go all Elvis on the tv.

I have a similar theory to this. The vast majority of white Americans are descended from people who spent centuries worshiping a monarch they never saw or knew. It’s in the DNA. Two hundreds years of trying a different system is too taxing for them to overcome the hardwiring. They want to go back to the old system and trump was that vessel.

I told this to an attorney friend who is a quasi Trumpist. I kidded him that he was being disloyal to his scotch ancestors.

Mr. Lucas has cheerfully overlooked the fact that Biden has said he won’t be appointing congresscritters because he doesn’t want to upset what balance is actually there in Congress.

Perhaps he ran out of ideas that day.

 

The Giuliani fart video, funny as it is, reminded me of the old theory: The first person who says, "Who farted?" is the one who did. The Reps effort has been to claim the Dems are doing things that the Reps are actually doing. The Dems are going to take away your rights, your guns; we're going to be speaking Chinese, taxes, voter fraud, blah blah blah.
Rep: "Who farted?" Dem: "You did, asshole."
