The one thing of real substance that came out of the Sunday shows was James Tapper, former Director of National Intelligence, stating flatly that Trump Tower was not bugged, that there was no FISA warrant to do so, and that neither Trump, his campaign staff, or the Trump Tower server were tapped. "I would know if the NSA, FBI, or CIA done so, and it had not been, as of the time I left the government in January."

It was, however, phrased narrowly enough that it was possible that someone calling from Trump Tower might have been caught speaking with someone who was already under surveillance.

The other common talking points were that the Watergate investigation took two years to completely unfold and that Trump's WH staff had been taken aback again by his "Obama tapped me" tweet, and that they had responded in the same way they did after his "three million fraudulent votes" tweet - by saying that "Yes, he said that, and Congress should investigate it". Translation - yes, he tweeted it, but we don't have shit for evidence, so Congress should go try and find some.

Trump is watching all his plans for the first hundred days go down a rathole. He will try mightily to bring the focus back to his actual governing actions next week, but there's no way this dies down anytime soon, even assuming that there are no new developments.
