Would it take a Constitutional amendment to require the Senate to vote on all bills passed by the House?

Very true ... and the same can be said of the poor from all around the nation who continue believing in the fantasy that Trump, McConnell and their lickspittles have their best interests at heart.

 

I don't understand what Mcconnell is doing here. Trump wanted this. Unless the obstructionist in him has become so strong he's forgotten how to not be one.

We are still dealing with the party that couldn't get anything done when they controlled both houses, obviously.

But because of Trump, my retirement has now almost tripled in four years. another 36% increase and it will be up 300%. Thanks for asking. Trump was the greatest ever, did everything I voted for him to do. I'll always be eternally grateful for how he gave me a retirement while my cheapass shitty newspaper employer wouldn't.

Best I can figure is they don't want to juice the economy as Biden is taking office. Also, too, the GOPers suddenly have to appear concerned about the debt after four years of not giving a fuck.

I figure Mitch will negotiate $2 per person stimulus to be included in a bill that gives tax cuts on vacation homes or allows tax write offs for chartering private planes for travel.

 

So Trump can insult war heroes
He can cheat on his wife with a porn star and pay her hush money
He can use Russia to help him win an election
He can try to destroy Democracy
But let him ask Mitch McConnell for $1400 extra per person and that’s where Republicans draw the line
