In the meantime, North Carolina Governor McCrory, who trails his Democratic opponent by about 7000 votes, hasn't yet asked for a recount but is filing dozens of voter fraud allegations across the state, some of which have been rejected by local election boards, including Republican ones. His plan is to have the Republican legislature declare him the winner, which they can do under state law. It has been reported but denied that the legislature might react to a judicial election giving Democrats a majority on the state Supreme Court by just adding two seats the governor would fill, just to keep it all nice and legal. This is the sort of thing that can lead to political violence, and I at least would have a hard time condemning it.

Of note, the N.C. governor's party automatically gets a 2-1 majority on all 100 county election boards. Those were the biggest mischief makers this cycle when it came to things like messing around with early voting hours and closing polling places in minority communities. A small victory if Roy Cooper can hold on, but you take what you can get in preparation for 2020.

That would be the equivalent of a coup. And besides, McCrory is a buffoon.

Weak. He's going to have to up his locker room talk if he's going to run for president one day.

I don't think this was the meeting the media was expecting:

Yeah, stupid of The Media to think Trump could be anything but a vengeful ass.

He's whining now about tough coverage? Wait until we start examining and reporting about actual governance issues. He ain't seen nothing yet.

Right-wing logic: Corporations are people, but Jews are not.

Except, of course, enlightened and vastly more intelligent people such as yourself, who will always know what's best for the rest of us.
