They are down across the board - particularly ARs and AKs, which have fallen by more than 50-percent. But even run-of-the-mill shotgun and hunting rifle prices have dropped over the past two years.

 

Hunting is way down as an American pastime. No change in social attitudes responsible, just the growth of suburbs and exurbs in what used to be rural areas. Less hunting availability equals fewer hunters.

One of my college buddies posted this on Facebook from his hometown paper, a small weekly in southern Alabama. Notice it's not "Confederate Memorial Day" or "Civil War Remembrance Day", but "Confederate FLAG Day." Confederate Flag Day is a holiday with tons of tradition, started way back in 2016.
